The culture of the restaurant was important to our clients. Fitting into Ponsonby Central’s guidelines, natural materials are highlighted by bright pops of colour. We kept the mediums simple to emphasise the culture of the open kitchen, flaming fire, and tossing of the wok; all adding to the ambience that makes this restaurant special. The industrial integrity of the site set the scene for the perfectly imperfect fit out.
